Licence
You are buying the right to use the paintings, not the paintings themselves. This page is exactly what that right covers, in the plainest words the shop can manage.
Version 1.0In force from 2026-08-08
The short version
Binding in full, and true on its own: a visitor who reads only these two columns has not been misled. The clauses below say the same thing at greater length.
You may
- Set any painting in your set as the wallpaper, lock screen or background on every device you own or personally use.
- Keep the files. The licence does not expire and there is nothing to renew.
- Move them to your next phone or laptop, and keep your own backup copies.
- Crop, tint or otherwise adjust a file so it sits better on your own screen.
- Print a copy for your own wall. These are screen files, so a sharp print is a small one — postcard size, not a poster.
You may not
- Sell, rent, lend or give the files to anyone else, altered or not.
- Upload them anywhere others can get them: wallpaper sites, image boards, file shares, chat servers, a token on a chain.
- Use them in anything commercial: a product, packaging, an advertisement, merchandise, a thumbnail, a stream overlay, a client's project.
- Use them as training data, or feed them to a generative model.
- Present a painting as your own work, or sell prints of it.
- Use a painting in a way that suggests a brand shown in it endorses you or is connected to you.

What you are buying
A licence, not a painting. Copyright in every painting stays with the shop and is not sold with the file. What you buy is permission to use the files: personal, worldwide, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and yours for as long as you care to keep it.
Non-exclusive means the same set is sold to other people. Non-transferable means the permission is yours: it does not travel to someone else along with a copy of the file.
- 2
What arrives
A set is bought whole. Every painting in the collection comes with it, in each cut the shop stocks, as JPEG files at the sizes shown on this page. Download links appear on your receipt page as soon as payment clears.
- 3
Personal use, and what counts as personal
Personal means you and the people in your household, on devices you own or personally use. There is no device limit and no count to keep.
A work laptop counts as personal use while the painting is only your wallpaper on it. It stops being personal the moment the image becomes part of something the business makes, sells or shows to its customers.

What the licence does not allow
The short version above is the whole of it. Stated once more for the record, and for the avoidance of doubt, you may not:
- redistribute, resell, sublicense, publish or otherwise make available any file from a set, in whole or in part, edited or not, whether or not money changes hands;
- use any file in a commercial, promotional or public-facing context;
- register, or claim, any right in a painting or in anything derived from one.
- 5
Commercial use
Not included, at any price on this site. It is available — it is simply a different conversation, because the shop has to look at what is inside a painting before it can licence that painting for a product.
If you want a set on something you sell, ask before you use it, not after.
- 6
Machine learning
The paintings may not be used to train, fine-tune, evaluate or condition any machine-learning model, and may not be included in any dataset assembled for those purposes.
Buying a set is not consent to any of that, and nothing on this site is offered as training data. This reservation is express, and it survives for as long as the copyright does.
- 7
The marks and objects inside the paintings
Some paintings show real things: a bottle on a shelf, a watch face, a marque on a car, a board at the side of a court. Those things carry other people's trademarks, names and designs.
This licence covers the painting. It grants you nothing whatsoever in any mark, name or design appearing inside one, because those are not the shop's to grant. Wallpaper on a screen you use is the purpose these files are sold for, and the only purpose licensed here.
Any use that puts one of those marks in front of other people is a matter between you and whoever owns the mark.
- 8
Price, tax and currency
Every price on this site includes consumption tax, as Japanese law requires (総額表示). The figure shown beside a set is the figure charged; the smaller ex-tax figure next to it is the same price with the tax separated out.
Each currency has its own price, set by the shop. Nothing is converted at an exchange rate, so you are charged the exact figure you were shown, in the currency you were reading it in.
- 9
Refunds
The files are delivered the moment you pay, which is why a refund after download is not normally possible.
If something is actually wrong — a file missing, a file that will not open, a cut that never arrived — write to the shop and it will be put right or refunded. That is a promise about the goods, not a change-of-mind window.
- 10
Your receipt link
The link on your receipt page is the key to the files. It works for as long as the receipt does, which is generous but not forever, and it is not an archive. Download the set and keep your own copy.
Anyone holding that link can reach your files, so treat it the way you would a receipt for something valuable.
- 11
What the shop does not promise
Files are supplied as they are. Screens differ, and a colour that is exact on the shop's monitor will not be exact on yours.
The shop does not promise that a set suits a particular device, a particular arrangement of icons, or a particular taste. Its liability for anything arising from a purchase is limited to what you paid for that set.
Nothing in this clause removes a right that Japanese consumer law gives you.
- 12
If this licence changes
The terms that apply to a set are the ones published when you bought it. A later version does not reach back and take away something you have already paid for. The version and date in force are printed at the top of this page.
- 13
Language
This licence is published in Japanese and English. Where the two disagree, the Japanese text is the one that governs; the English is provided so that it can be read.
- 14
Law
Japanese law governs this licence and any purchase made through this site, and any dispute goes to the courts of Japan.
